Operating Result for the third quarter of 2009

SBN025/2009 November 11, 2009 Subject : Operating Result for the third quarter of 2009 To : The Managing Director, the Stock Exchange of Thailand Sabina Public Co., Ltd. would like to clarify the operating result for the third quarter of 2009 as follows:- For the third quarter of 2009, Sabina Public Co., Ltd. had the total revenue from sales & service amount 421.64 million baht which decreased by 22.85% or equivalent to 124.86 million baht. This was the result from the reducing in sales revenue of OEM department amount 146.62 million baht due to economic crisis in USA and Europe, the OEM customers reduced their orders and concentrated in ordering cheaper products according to the reducing in demand from the end customers. The increase sales revenue of 20.73 million baht from Sabina-brand products was unable to compensate with the decrease sales revenue from OEM products. This was the result in reduce of the company's total revenue. The cost of goods sold amount 256.49 million baht for the third quarter of 2009, which decreased by 95.47 million baht or 27.12% from the same period in 2008. This resulted from reducing in total sale of the company. The Company had a gross profit of 165.15 million baht or 39.17%. For the third quarter of 2009, the Company had Selling General and Administrative expenses of 140.40 million baht which decreased by 8.60 million baht or 5.77% from the same period of 2008. The company had the operating profit of 24.75 million baht or 5.87% For the third quarter of 2009, net profit of the company was 26.25 million baht which decreased by 18.86 million baht or 41.82% from the same period of 2008.
